    I BELIEVE it’s possible. :)

Yesterday there were public hearings in Congress. i… forgot to watch :(
Why is this a blip? You need to have a space ship land on the Capitol Mall before anyone pays attention…🤔

From this whistle blower, you know how distances are frequently mentioned as a reason why UFOs coukd not be real? There is consideration to the possibility these craft are inter-dimensional.

A Department of Defense whistleblower made a number of shocking claims about unexplained aerial phenomena — or UAPs, the updated government term for UFOs — during testimony in a congressional hearing on Wednesday.

Among his many claims made under oath, former U.S. intelligence official David Grusch told the House Oversight Committee that “non-human” beings had been retrieved from spacecraft.

What's the current reality before us?

People see things that they don't know what they are, and they attach attributes to them. That's it. A UFO/UAP is just that, something that's not identified. Does that sound like a fringe argument?

I guess I can break it down if you insist.

David Grusch worked as the lead on a task force investigating UAP. He is claiming that the government is in possession of NHI craft, and biological material.

Would you like put forward a counter argument on why you think Grusch is wrong? Do all skeptics in this thread give no thought to the motivations for someone like Grusch to lie to Congress?

Edit to add: Didn't Grusch give names of individuals in the know, and locations of UAP's to the senate intel committee? Was this added to the NDAA after that meeting?

That there is life on other planets wouldn't surprise me at all. That there is life on other planets similar enough to us to want to, actually do, manufacture, travel the distances, etc., etc., that these UFOs are claimed to do I find highly improbable.

The Probability of Human Existence Is Infinitesimally Small

From an evolutionary standpoint, it’s near impossible

Edited to add: But then again, what do I know?

That's more of a summary than breaking it down, but anyway, I reiterate, extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence, and that which is asserted without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence. A grainy film of a shiny dot (OP's image) is evidence of a shiny dot on grainy film, nothing more, nothing less.

I am not saying Grusch is wrong, or that he's lying, and I don't care about his motivations. But saying it is so is not the same as proving it is so.

Since the Webb telescope and other Earth based advanced telescopes have recently gone online, we've discovered astral objects and dynamics that we either thought were impossible or had absolutely no clue existed.

We never know as much as we think we know. That sums up the entire history of very limited human knowledge.

Anyone who believes we have been visited by aliens is jumping to an unproven conclusion, just like anyone who believes it's impossible that we have been visited by aliens is jumping to an unproven conclusion.

Saying something exists doesn't prove it exists, just like saying something doesn't exist doesn't prove it doesn't exist.

If our species lives long enough, we will eventually discover that quantum travel, time travel and inter-dimensional travel are all the same. We will eventually learn that our constructs on space, time and matter are as wrong and incomplete as was our constructs of a flat Earth and an Earth centric universe.

We are more ignorant than we are knowledgeable about human biology and the planet we live on, let alone the rest of the universe and what makes it tick.

The UFO congressional hearing was 'insulting' to US employees, a top Pentagon official says

    WASHINGTON —
A top Pentagon official has attacked this week's widely watched congressional hearing on UFOs, calling the claims "insulting" to employees who are investigating sightings and accusing a key witness of not cooperating with the official U.S. government investigation.

Dr. Sean Kirkpatrick's letter, published on his personal LinkedIn page and circulated Friday across social media, criticizes much of the testimony from a retired Air Force intelligence officer that energized believers in extraterrestrial life and produced headlines around the world...................
............................................He writes in part, "I cannot let yesterday's hearing pass without sharing how insulting it was to the officers of the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community who chose to join AARO, many with not unreasonable anxieties about the career risks this would entail."

"They are truth-seekers, as am I," Kirkpatrick said. "But you certainly would not get that impression from yesterday's hearing."

In a separate statement, Pentagon spokeswoman Sue Gough denied other allegations made by Grusch before a House Oversight subcommittee.

The Pentagon "has no information that any individual has been harmed or killed as a result of providing information" about UFO objects, Gough said. Nor has the Pentagon discovered "any verifiable information to substantiate claims that any programs regarding the possession or reverse-engineering of extraterrestrial materials have existed in the past or exist currently."

No need to feel sorry, nor have I been impacted by any propaganda, government or otherwise.
As for figuring out what David Fravor saw, you sure as hell are not going to figure out by looking at grainy footage of a tiny black dot.

Yea, no one said we are.

There is more video of the tic tac that hasn't been released to the public. We should all be supporting further investigation into whatever is going on instead of poo poo ing the whole thing.

If some defense contractor has developed tech that is better than what our military has outside of the control of the government, then that is a bigger problem than if aliens are real IMO.

I haven't even seen evidence that these sightings are of craft, alien, or otherwise. I'm not saying they aren't, but I haven't seen proof that they are. "I saw this" or "I saw that" isn't good enough.

    Ok.

Either you think this is something Congress should keep digging into or not.

That's all any of us should be debating about right now.

I want them to give us more information.

More grainy video of a shiny dot?
It's going to be hard to investigate anything when you only get to see it through a grainy video taken from the cockpit of a jet fighter.

If we assume that the shiny grainy dot is an actual aircraft, then that defense contractor would have to have 4-5 Einsteins on the payroll.

    Whatever.

It's clear you don't have any idea what is going on. You are too ignorant about this topic to be participating in any discussion.

I would say that if serious minds think we should keep looking into it, we should keep looking into it. If not, no. And I'm not sure Congress is the right entity. What do they know? Although I suppose whoever is looking into it should testify before them.

I do. A dude says something and shows a grainy picture of a shiny dot that confirm your fantasies, and you get all bent out of shape when someone is skeptical about what the dude says, and tells you that a shiny dot on grainy film is just a shiny dot on grainy film.

You are too ignorant about this topic to be participating in any discussion.
Really? That's how you want to reply?

You haven't even watched the hearing, much less been keeping up with the topic for the last few years.

We should all want more information. We shouldn't be arguing about whether or not aliens are real.

You aren't even taking this issue seriously, so i'm not interested in having a discussion with you about it.

We are going to have at least a dozen more hearings in the next year. There will be more information coming.

Congress is the only entity with the authority to investigate it, for better or worse.

I dont know if this is real or not but I do know that if we ever make first contact with an alien species, and if we can even recognize it, it will have a huge influence on the societies on Earth as we know it today.

History has never been kind to the lesser developed civilisation in first contact situations, and religions will among other things, face major challenges if they have to deal with alien civilisations that do not "fit" into their world view. Another question would be if we would even "count" as a civilisation or just be considered somethink akind to termites, who has infected an otherwise perfect world as a pest which should be exterminated.

Imo, congress is exactly the wrong entity to be investigating UAPs.

Do I think there is life elsewhere? Yes. Do I think that travel between star systems that have life-sustaining planets is possible? Sure. Do I think it is likely? No. At least not at this point in time.

You are not interested in having a discussion (yet you keep replying) with people who have points of view that go against the idea you have in your mind of alien life that you are so invested in, so you lash out.

I will continue to post my point of view on any topic I feel I want to reply to, following the rules in the TOS. If you don't want to read what I post, don't, or put me on ignore.

Yea, and i can tell you that you aren't informed. That's not a discussion.

You won't find me saying aliens are real anywhere.
