I'm not about to let Boomers escape responsibility for putting politicians into office and support policies that basically pulled the ladder up after them.

That generation went along with Reagan's "Spend and borrow" philosophy until it became embedded into both parties.
The ladder has indeed been pulled up, while the rug was also being pulled out from under us. The Reapportionment Act of 1929 is the biggest enabler of this terrible tyranny and exploitation by the minority against the majority. That happened under the watch of the "generation" before the so called "Greatest Generation." That "generation" doesn't even have a name as far as I know.

    Some quick thoughts:
    • Just as many people from the so called "Silent Generation" and "Gen X" helped put those politicians in office and a lot of those politicians were "Silent" and "Gen X."
    • I'm not saying you do it, but a lot of people who buy into the "generations" theory often put people in the wrong "generational" box.
    • "Baby boomers" are supposedly only the people born between 1946 and 1964, which means they are supposedly the people who are currently 60 to 78 years old.
    • The first year that the first year "boomers" could vote was in 1967. Nixon was put into office in 1968, mostly by the "Silent" and "Greatest" generations. Nixon did his part in pulling the ladder up on the majority of Americans and leaned into executive power and corruption, Trump's insurrection organizer Roger Stone was Nixon's Roger stone first.
    • Joseph McCarthy died in 1957, a full ten years before the first "boomer" could vote.
    • Kennedy was assassinated on the watch of the "Silent" and "Greatest," as was Martin Luther King Jr.

Let's take a look at how some key elections broke out by age.

Donald Trump's 2016 win. In 2016 "boomers" were between the ages of 52 and 70.

Clinton's 1992 win. In 1992 "boomers" were between the ages of 28 and 46.
I did this column graph from the data at the above site:

1980 Reagan's win. In 1980, "boomers" were between the ages of 16 and 34.

Here's a graph of how party identity breaks out by age in 2022.

There is not a major difference in party identity, which usually translates to policy support, between "Gen X," "Boomer," and "Silent." Independents tend to split fairly evenly between Republican and Democratic candidates when voting.

I’m happy to set them up for you, bird, lol.

Rodgers with a weirdly worded non-denial about Sandy Hook.

Welp, he’s already a politician. Excellent example of tap-dancing.

I saw this - this isn’t the same woman in the picture on the CNN story, is it? Somebody maybe got the wrong picture. Edit to add: thumbnail on CNN story doesn’t look like her, but pictures within CNN story are same as this story. Crazy eyes, IMO.
